Marie DiBona-Herzog

With her love of the ocean, creativity, and the natural world, Marie came to understand the divine connection that we all share. She encourages her students to “Be in Their Hearts,” to honor their bodies, and empower themselves through mindful self-discovery. Self-love and self-care are current themes in Marie’s life and she hopes to plant these seeds of love for all her students.
Yoga found Marie at the age of 18 and it saved her from a struggle with anxiety and depression. She weaves yoga and meditation into her daily routine as a way to remain more present for herself and her family. Growing up in Los Angeles, California, allowed Marie to spend many days at the beach, her favorite place. She graduated from San Diego State University in 2005 with a degree in European studies and Italian language. After college, she completed a 200-hour yoga Teacher Training and has been teaching ever since.
She fell in love with supporting women during pregnancy and motherhood when she started teaching Prenatal Yoga in 2007. That led to specializing in Prenatal Yoga and Mom and Me Yoga classes. Marie leads Prenatal Yoga Teacher Trainings as her primary focus.
She currently lives in Central California with her husband, two boys, two dogs and two cats. When she’s not teaching yoga, you can find her traveling, baking, painting, dancing, or playing with her two young boys.
